Lunar Capital Youth League

Our core purpose is to meaningfully impact the investment culture of the communities and people whose lives we touch. We hope to create a more meaningful approach to investing in South Africa. At Lunar Capital, we aim to continually learn and apply what we’ve learnt to our investing approach. We believe that learning is foundational to creating a strong investment culture in South Africa.

One of our initiatives was to create the Lunar Youth League to upskill the investment knowledge of our young investors. In the Lunar Youth League we cover different themes in investment, the Lunar investment frameworks and our approach to analysing different stocks

Tomorrows Investors

We have now run two successful courses of classes and have been astounded to see such a warm reception to them. As such we look forward to hosting future rounds of classes to help nurture the investors of tomorrow and empower them with the tools they need to make mindful investment choices. We are excited to create a new investment culture in South Africa Our core purpose is to meaningfully impact the investment culture of the communities and people whose lives we touch.

Youth Investment Classes

The Lunar Youth League looks to provide for a better tomorrow through the provision of fortnightly investment classes. These classes will span different themes in investment, the Lunar investment frameworks and the approach to analysing different stocks.

By upskilling the investment knowledge of young investors we hope to create a more meaningful approach to investment in South Africa, and to empower an incoming generation.

In addition to our investment classes, we aim to showcase how investing can not only grow wealth, but also be a positive contributor to the growth of industry by allocating capital efficiently.

We aim to continually learn and to apply our learning to invest, and find meaningful enjoyment in the returns from our investments and in sharing our learning with others, impacting our country’s investment culture.
